This program is designed to train and educate men and women that are
called, or believe they have a calling on their life, to preach and teach the
gospel of Jesus Christ. To provide them with a spiritual foundation,
biblical knowledge and practical skills necessary to enhance their
ministry. It is a program geared towards helping people to discover
their purpose in the Kingdom of God.

The Equipping Center is NOT an undergraduate or graduate degree
program. Therefore, upon completion of the training program
individuals will not receive an associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree.
It is, however, a 3-year certificate training program that consist of 3
Tiers: Tier One, Tier Two and Tier Three. When students complete a
Tier, they receive a certificate of completion. The Tiers are progressive,
so everyone starts at Tier One. And for students that complete all three
tiers, we have a cap and gown graduation ceremony.

The Equipping Center does not license and ordain individuals that
attend the school. The information gained in this program will be an
asset to one’s ministry calling in the kingdom, but we believe that it is
the responsibility and joy of one’s own pastor to license and ordain their
members.

Again, our classes are geared to equip kingdom leaders in both practical
and spiritual matters of ministry. Theological and doctrinal teachings
are very important for those called to the ministry. However, Apostle
Mitchell, the dean of The Equipping Center, has noticed over the years,
that there has been an extreme emphasis on spiritual gifting and the
giving of ministry titles in the church without proper preparedness. And
unfortunately, this has contributed to the pride, hypocrisy, spiritual
immaturity, lack of character and integrity in the body of Christ amongst some ministry leaders. Too many have been released into ministry
without being properly processed and equipped. Kingdom leaders need to be
equipped first, before they equip others.

The only requirement one must have for attending the Equipping Center
is a desire to learn. If you already know that you are called, think you
are called, are already walking in your calling or you just simply want to
learn more about the call to ministry and yourself…this school is for
you. No matter what your ministry position may be, you will gain a
wealth of knowledge from the classes taught at The Equipping Center.

The school year for The Equipping Center is from September-May; only
two Saturdays a month or two Tuesday evenings a month depending on
the Tier you are in. Saturday classes are held in person at 7445 Old
Alexandria Ferry Rd Clinton, MD 20735 as well as online via Zoom.
